What is market breadth?
Market breadth measures how many stocks are participating in today's move. When the Nifty 50 rallies but only five stocks are green and 45 are red, the rally is narrow - driven by a handful of heavyweights and likely to fade. When 35+ are green, it's broad-based and more sustainable.
